While visiting Da Nang I made two visits to Sakura Massage, where they offer you three opportunities to choose your girl. If none of the options appeals to you, they promise a refund. I wonder how often this happens though, especially when you're just looking to satisfy your cravings. Anyway, during my first visit, I opted for a 60-minute session. The initial choices for masseuses were rather underwhelming, and the person assisting me in making a selection was somewhat insistent. I pushed back and eventually settled on the third option, which was better but still not impressive. Her facial appearance rated 4/10, as did her body. Unfortunately, her massage skills left much to be desired, and she seemed more focused on the clock than providing a quality session. She prematurely ended the session before my allotted time was up, leaving me unsatisfied. Given that it was close to closing time, I decided to cut them some slack. I decided to return the next day because there aren't many options in the area that I'm aware of. This time I decided to go for a longer 90-minute session. I selected the second masseuse that was presented to me, even though she had artificial breasts, which isn't my preference. However, she appeared fairly attractive with a face rating of 6/10 and a body rating of 5/10. As expected, her massage skills were subpar. After a lackluster start, she made a bit more effort during the second half of the session, but it still fell short of delivering a satisfactory experience, leaving me unfulfilled. In the end, I departed Da Nang without getting my juices out. I also couldn't help but notice that the girls here tended to be unshaved, a contrast from what I observed in Saigon. Is this a distinctive characteristic of Central Vietnam? Nonetheless, I relished delving into the city's other captivating facets, although, in hindsight, I should have left my mongerer hat back in HCMC.
